While we're on the subject of talking about promoting the hobby I'll share a dirty lil secret I've been doing for some time now which doesn't require any money at all.
When I visit a bookstore or any place that sells magazines for that matter I've noticed that R/C magazines are placed in the Hobby section of magazines - right next to the quilting and crafts. Most guys don't are not usually in that section of magazines. So I've been known to place 2-3 R/C magazines in the "guys" section of magazines after I've done flipped through them. I'm sure the bookstores hate me, but it's cool to see someone pick up the magazine after I did that normally wouldn't have never seen it.
