If its really rated for 100A it would be overkill but it looks more like a 60A esc.

better to over kill than not enough though right? will it be hard on the esc or the motor to have an esc rated for that many amps? i just want to make sure i am not stressing anything. i would like to run on 3s and the stock esc sound like it is pushing it on 3s from what i have read.

doesn't matter how high the ESC is rated as long as its rated higher than what the motor will pull.
