Hobao hyper 7

I came across this hyper 7. Box full of parts new in package. Enough to build another car. Had an axial 26 in it but, it didn’t run right.


Plus, the mount wasn’t shimmed to accommodate the pull start it wore. While I reckon it worked, I don’t do things like that. I’ll eventually break in to it as it has fantastic compression. But, for now, the hobao got the bestest budget engine for power and speed both.


These 30’s rev high and get there in a hurry. Waiting on an air filter to get some idle tanks through it.

Don’t know yet. Had to drill the axial mount to get it off. Had to wait on another mount. Got it today. Going to start break in Saturday.

Ain’t gonna happen. It’s getting some good cycles on the starter box. Then, it gets leaned down enough to stay to temps for the the next three tanks.

You know there’s gotta be a jab or two in there.

Are you in the UK or the US? I have a carbon fibre reciever box/servo mount that doesn't fit my Hyper 7 but is exactly the same as yours by the looks. If you're in the UK you're more than welcome to have it FOC

I’m in the USA. I’d love to get my hands on it but, that’s a far piece. Lol
