I have a t-maxx 2.5 only a couple weeks old. Once in a while after running it a while and hot, I would make a high speed run, I see good smoke coming out but as soon as I let off the throttle it will just cut out. It doesn't do it all the time just once in awhile. The plug is new and runs fine most of the time. I am a newbie to this. I do notice smoke but to me it might be to much. my hsn is at 4 turns out which is factory. Could it be possible to be to rich at operating temperature?

Yea it could be to lean, start leaning it out in small incraments

What???

Does it bog at all under acceleration? Is your plug wet when it stalls? If yes to either or both you are way rich on the HSN. May want to get a temp gun too...

where are you located? sea level or like rocky mts? air density will play a part to your mixture levels, but ya i bet at 4 turns out your engine is on the rich side. try leaning it out and see what happens

Too rich on top and too lean on bottom. When you let off, the engine starves for fuel and flames out. If your happy with the top end performance, then I'd just adjust the LSN a little at a time by richening it.

Thanks for that one guys, just helped my missus out on something She had a prob with on HER buggy !!
