I plan on heading south in the heat yay :). But i need help on 4 problems. I wanna basically turn my car into a force. Don't laugh , I have a ofna ob4. I wanna go above 60mph

1)Engine- I need pickup, speed and durablility in heat but i don't have alot to spend($150 or below). My stock ofna engine would overheat at and above 60degrees f.

2) I need tips on 4 wheel drive. My ofna has 4 wheel drive and ran 4 wheels the first couple months then after that i noticed all fours wheels arent in sinc with each other. Brand new i'd turn 1 wheel and all four would turn. not anymore though.

3) What are some good recievers out there. I was at a really big parking lot and my car took off on me with a fail safe and crash at 60mph into a curb and the parts from the car went store on-ing high. i was pissed. I sent the car to ofna they repaired it for free. I'm in need of a reliable reciever

4) I raced the car after it was fixed and it was fine until 1 day i noticed that I would gas it and the car wouldn't move. So i opened the car up and fixed a broken piece in the rear end of the car in a shaft. I even used r/c black grease to lubricate. It worked fine. Then 1 day later same deal. I gas the car and it wouldn't move. I gave up on r/cing until now i'm back and ready for more.

please help me any info is appreciated

If your engine is tuned properly I don't think it should overheat. You may want to work on it a bit. Try changing the plug to a colder one.

This sounds like an issue with your differentials. Do a search on this site and you will find links explaining how they work. That will also help explain why turning one wheel turns all four, then as the silicone breaks down there is less resistance and they wont turn together.

novak, JR, futaba, hitek. They all do much the same thing but some have added features you may want: fail safe, third channel, digital signaling, synthisized channel, etc.

There's probably a reason it keeps breaking. You may want to take a closer look at it.

Diff.

Yeah If You Used To Beable To Turn All 4 wheels And Now You can't It Is Definately In The Diff One Of Your Gears Has Stripped. Have A Nice Day:w00t:

thanks for all the help. i will try some of the suggestions.

This is what happened yesterday

I replaced a burnt out rear 117 belt and the car now moves. But i noticed that the gears are spinning backwards/counterclockwise in idle and when i gas off the car is pretty damn slow. I gave a good amount of throttle and the car seemed to like stutter a little and i seen a rear belt like skip a beat. The tires seem to lag also. I think i might need to get the car aligned or something. The car has a problem with steering straight. It always seem to steer left even though i aligned it plenty of times with the radio controller.

So incase i lost any1 lol here's my problems from yesterday's out-ing

1)the gears are spinning backwards/counterclockwise in idle.
2) car has slow pickup for some reason. When the car ran good a while back a nice stream of smoke came out the pipe. Right now that same nice stream comes out but the car lags.
3)the tires seem to lag and whobble on take off.
4)car seems to steer left, time and time again even after aligning with controller

i hope fixing one thing can fix most of these problems because it was only a few months ago that the car ran at peak performance. I havent crashed the car either.
