hi guys I'm new to rc cars I've bought an ftx outrage nitro followed the instructions on break in now the car fired up for about 10 seconds then died can't get the thing started again need help

what kind of starter does that thing have....will it turn over...if not it may be vapor locked...if thats the case remove your glow plug crank it a few times and reinstall the plug and try to start.....
if it will crank but wont start...are you priming the engine by holding your finger over the exhaust for a few seconds....make sure your getting fuel....change your glow plug they go bad fast when doin the brake in...

you post confuses me a little...have you already done the break in and now it wont start or your tryin to do the break in and can't get it started to start the process...

hi I'm trying to break the car in its a pull start I've had ago at everything new glow plug bit of fuel in carb all flooding procedures its a brand new rtr out of the box as i said it fired the first time i primed engine for about 10 seconds then died been on some web sites the shop sold me 16 nitro this has a 21 engine do you think the fuel is to weak

no i think the engine isn't broken in and unbroken engines are hard to start. watch some clips on it. Heres a basic one Watch this WHOLE series before you post back to us. this should have ALL Answers to your problems. in order:

If this is your first nitro car or you are 0-3 years then you need to watch all of these videos. if this doesn't fix your problem it will at least help you to communicate with us about what specifically isn't working out. Without being able to use exact terms we can't really help much.

I agree without knowing exactly what your talking about its had to deturmine your problem. If you still can not fix the problem or understand what is wrong, post it. Someone if not myself should be able to assist you better.
