It took me over a week to stop using the left foot on the brake and the right on the gas to pick up the RPMs before leaving a light.
It's now an absolute joy to drive normally again.

Lol, try doing that in a 6 speed!!
 
Very interesting I thought it would've thrown a code for being too rich, but those can take quite a while to show. I had a car that would throw a lean code once in a while, and it was lean all the time, but it took a good 200 miles before it would come on.
Good to hear it's fixed and you didn't get soaked for it.

Lol yeah, the only things that were getting soaked were the pistons
 
And your catalytic converter(s). Running rich causes excess fuel to be burned up in your converters. Hopefully it didn't shorten their lives too much.

It's possible, but I may never find out.. sooner or later I'm probably going to put a performance cat back setup on it. I really would like a little more rumble out of the car.
 
Your converters are much better off running rich vs lean. In extreme cases they can plug, while running lean causes them to break apart.
If you do get high flow cats or test pipes beware of the rear o2 sensor (emissions) codes. Sometimes you can space the sensor out away from the pipe a little and get away with it, but not all the time.
 
It depends on where the rear o2 sensors are located. They're usually in the pipe coming directly out of the converter or test pipe, but sometimes they're after the flange.
