Help! I have just recieved my micro and it has a ES-01 Mini FET AMP by Sanwa. How do I connect that to my TX-2 (stock Nitro RS4 Radio) or my XR2?? It has two blue plugs that go to the reciver. One plug has a Black wire and a Red wire and the other plug has one blue wire. I would love to get this thing running! Help

You rang? It looks like there are at least two plugs that are supposed to be one. What is written on that yellow tag? Most radios that are BEC compatable are wired up to take power on the throttle channel from the ESC. And this means 1 plug from the ESC to the RX. If you could SGT, tell me what that tag says. It might just be that you need to take the signal wire (probably the blue one) and put it into the oipen hole in the power lead and thus combine the two plugs. But make sure you have the pin-outs the same as the servos so you don't fry the Rx.

Also, do you have the steering servo installed, but not hooked up to the Rx? What is on each end of the red white and black wire in the photo. Is it connected to the (what looks like) power switch?

Whitt...

error being the key word. Kind of like when commisioner Gorden fires up the bat signal. Please EP, in the future, use it sparingly.

Are you trying to pullstart my butt? If ya are, I wouldn't stand back there, remember at the bash we had....:shhh:

:constipat

I need a new ESC to run the big block. Without it My esc is a $25 Smoke bomb. It looked cool to! I'm not saying that that happened :cheeky: I just need a new ESC cuz my is wasted. (tons of smoke)

Damn. That sucks. I'm running (when I get some new radio crystals) the Orion ESC. But I only have the HPI 25T mod motor, not a BB, on 6 cells. I'm not sure if that esc will handle the BB, but it might.

I and I thought I it would last atleast a day. Maybe El Pirata should pass on his Master of Disaster title :hi: lol

I am thinking about walking the neighborhood saying I'm with a church asking for food cans and donations :p:

Yea, the Novak SPY is a good choice, I run them on two of the Micro RS4s I have.

I recently bough an LRP Quantum Micro Reverse ESC. I have nothing but good things about these ESC's from the YourMicro Members.

Another thing, I see a BigBlock 300 motor in that Micro. Junk that 4-cell AA setup and get a 7.2V Team Orion Pack, or a Brick Pack.
"Transistor Radio" battery configurations don't do the BigBlock 300 any justice. It needs 7.2V

My stock motor goes faster then the big block. With 4 new AA's the car would go faster then walking pace but wasn't realling going anywhere at all. I pluged in my 6v 1000mAh reciever pack from www.onlybatteries.com That I use in my nitro car and the stock motor pops wheelies with the 9 tooth... um, not a clutchbell but uh, pinion? This is my first electric so I'm just learning.

LOL! A Micro RS4 that can wheelie! That's a first.

Seriously, I've said it once and I will say it again, the BigBlock 300/Speed 300/Wattage 370 motors need 7.2V
6 Volts just doesn't hack it!

I run a BB300 motor with great success and my Micro can stick with most standard (27T motor) Tamiya TLA series cars on the straight and narrow and run away from them out of the corners.

Also, 9T pinion is fine for a stock motor, but a 300 class motor comes into its own with a 13T pinion.

There are Micro-centric websites that you may want to check out like YourMicro.com

So without a 7.2v pack the BB won't run right? I can't figure out why my stocker is faster with 6v then my BB at 6v.

yep it won't run right. I use the dynamite 7.2v 1100mah pack but you can get beeter ones now from Team Orion that are 1200mah 7.2v. My BB motor makes my car insane fast so your batts are your problem, besides your ESC issues

lol, will the ES-01 Mini FET AMP by Sanwa handle the BB? Should I get another one ($25-$30)
