Question. Ok. how do i explain this. I try starting my car, it turns over right. i keep pressing on the ez start thing and keep it going turns over right when i take the ez start off it dies. but when i still have the ez start on it will run and move. now does this mean that the glow plug is not getting hot enough. because last night it was running fine, then i brought it to my work and started it up worked then it died started it again died then after that it wont start but only do what i just said in the beging? i think it might be a burnt glow plug and suggestions?

Sounds like a burnt up plug to me. Is the truck trying to run away at all? I was having clutch issues a little while ago and it acted the same way.

yea its trying to start but it doesn't stay started after i take out the ez start

and what i don't get is that i take the plug out and see if it gets red and it does. so. i mean this car is brand new i just got it two days ago so. . . i mean it cause be something major right? i haven't even been able to do the 5 steps for the break in cause i can't get it to start so I'm thinking and hoping that it is the glow plug!!! lol

What your are explaining is the pains of break in. Once break in is complete and you get it tuned you shouldn't have these troubles anymore.

The glow plug may turn red but is the whole coil glowing. If the whole coil isn't glowing all the way out to the tip/base, then it's most likely shot. If your running the stock mill try a McCoy MC59 instead of the Traxxas plug, I have better luck with those.

ok i got the plugs but i can't do it until i get off of work damnit!!! i hate waiting lol

try being 800 miles away from your new OS .18 that has been sitting in the box for the last two weeks since I haven't been home in enough time to break in and race. LOL

aww man hey what would you suggest puting in my revo when its time for a new motor?

i want speed!!!

oh yea whats with the plastic in the gas tank ?? how could you tell if that did happen?

Some Revo's had some plastic shavings in the tank from the factory that got into the lines and then in turn into the engine. Could cause some engine damage but likely would cause a problem with the plug fouling out. I run an external fuel filter anyway, they are only a couple bucks so it's cheap insurance. Talk to Revo Rancher, I think he's running the RB on his. It's supposed to be wicked fast but almost too much if your racing. I had my 2.5R tuned pretty good and was able to run with the guys that are running the OS .18 at my local track. Blew a fuel tak o-ring and overheated the crap out of my mill. I went with the .18 cause it's plenty power for the track.

BTW, Revo Rancher is located near you in the OC. Look him up.

yahooo it wored i got a new glow plug and its fixed yea I'm a newbie at this but its so much fun i want to learn alot about this. its like a new language. but anyways umm RB 323 what company makes it sorry i have no clue and yea I'm going to get a fuel filter soon as i can i just forgot when i was at the shop lol damn. . . thanks so much and i appericate your help and not callin me a newb and all that crap!!
