i have two wheely kings that i let my 4 and 5 yr olds play with and when the trucks take off from a standing start they make a grinding noise from the rear end i think ? this is were i need any advise to what might be making the noise and is there any upgrade parts for the drive train the noise sounds like plastic gears wearing the teeth away:dumb:

As far as i know there are not many hopup parts for the Wheele King yet. Take the motor off so the drive train moves freely. From there you will be able to hear better where the noise is coming from. With my limited knowledge of the unit, I would believe its the dif.

Sounds like the rear diff to me or maybe the driveshaft is going bad. They use a telescoping unit similar to the T-maxx style ones. If it's wearing it could be slipping inside. If the diff is blown out you can use a hardened unit from the Nitro MT2. HPI Part number 86336 and it is a direct drop in upgrade.

thanks for that bit of info i will look first at the diff.that seems to be were the noise is comming from.
