help with my charger please help

I have a pro peak charger, 2 days old which seems to have packed in.
Power light comes ,when i attach a battery the slow light goes out.I have a car battery charger 6v and 12 v can i use than on my power max cads.

help needed

can i charge my cads with a standard car battery charger.
if so do i need to set it to 6 or 12 v.

Never use a car charger to charge NiCd or NiMH packs. Also it is NOT recommended to use a car charger for an AC/DC power supply for your Peak Charger. If you do, you can fry your peak charger.
