help with big red .28 pull start size?

does anybody know if theres another pull start that will fit big red .28 without the hex i just want straight pull start?
 
Not following the "without the hex" part. The hex is what the pull start mates to and usually is a OWB. You need the hex to actually turn the piston over.
 
it was suppose to mean the small hex on backside of pull start for the rotor stater. i just broke down and ordered the factory pull start. think you for the help hopefully i can get thing running after 3 years in my shed.
 
I’m pretty sure those are very similar to an sh, lrp, or any other dynamite motor. Sounds like you got it sorted.
Yes i have got it sorted. Thanks for the help anyway! Infact the truck that used this engine was an hpi savage which I've converted to electric. The backplate fits perfectly on my redcat .21 sh
