I'm having a problem with this nitro car
From new out of the box a few days a go I've got the engine running and have run about 6 full tanks through the engine now.
I have got the engine to sumwhat of an ideling speed but i cannot get the rear wheels to stop turning!
I've tweaked the low speed screw and high speed numerous times from base settings to everything else and back again.

The only way i can get the wheels to stop is to apply the brake using the transmitter

Any ideas would be much appreciated

i have done pal but the motor just seems like it wants to accelerate all the time and well obviously the wheels dont want to stop turning

With the engine off and the electronics on pull the air filter and check the gap...you should have around a 1mm gap. You will need to adjust the idle screw or make adjustments to the throttle linkage. If you can push the throttle arm and close the carb a little it's the linkage.

I have just run in my new evo and I had he same problem. Even with the idle set as tight as possible leaving a tiny gap in the carb the idle speed was far too high and the wheels would cont to spin.

I had to richen the lsn to bog the engine out slightly and this reduced the idle speed and the wheels did not spin. It was tricky getting the lsn rich enough to do this without flooding the engine.....but I managed it after half an hour of tuning.

Now I have run about 10 tanks of fuel I can lean out the lsn to gain better excelleration and the car will still idle no problems. So it appears the problem go's away once the engine is run in well.

Hope this helps.
