I have a friend thats been bitten by the RC bug and wants to build a Ford Lightning Nitro vehicle and I need your help putting this together.

My question is, what car would be best for "occasional" parking lot runs? This will not be used for competition... just showing off and having fun.

He wants to replicate his '01 Lightning as much as possible but my experience is only with off-road and is limited at that. I've noticed HPI sells a F150 Flareside 200mm body. What can I put that on? What type of car would you suggest?

THanks for any help you can give us.

I just got the HPI RS4 Evo RTR last month. Screams out of the box, easy to handle, tough as nails, and the flareside will work on it. For around 300 US he'd have the RTR in his hands. Another 50 bucks or so for fuel, batteries, glow ignitor, etc. and his body and he's ready to rip...
