I’m going to run into a little money here shortly and I was hoping you folks could help me prioritize my wish list of R/C hop-ups.

1.) Hauler Bag

I’m so sick of the logistics of taking my R/C from point A to point B. Being able to just grab the bag and go would be awsome. I have the Maxx Plus Hauler Bag shown here because I figure if it can fit a T-Maxx, then it should be plenty big for my 1/8 buggy. I’m open to other products though. (This one seems to be on backorder mostly.)

2.) Starter Box

Pullstarting my .21 is manly, but at the same time it’s pretty annoying and newbie-like. I have the OFNA 10250 starter box pictured here only because I’ve heard good things about it. Again, I’m open to suggestions.

3.) THS Racing Off-Road One-Piece Tuned Pipe 1/8

Nuff said.

4.) Kyohso Inferno Springs, Dry-Cell igniter system & Pro-Line MP75 Body

I don’t know if I want the blues (soft) or the whites (hard) yet as the weather hasn’t been nice enough to permit me to run on the track. The stock ones are just too soft to hold the buggy up.

This novel igniter system would be a solid backup for those days when I bang my head in the wall and wish I would have plugged my igniters in the night before.

The Pro-Line 1/8 Crowd Pleazer MP-7.5 Body will fit the Lightning Pro with a little messing around. The paint is falling off the stock body and it would be a great experience to at least try my hand at painting R/C car bodies.

Again my choices are:

1.) Hauler Bag
2.) Starter Box
3.) THS Racing Off-Road One-Piece Tuned Pipe 1/8
4.) Kyohso Inferno Springs, Dry-Cell igniter system & Pro-Line MP75 Body

Which one should I go with? or in which order should I buy them?

I’m leaning to the Hauler bag because mobility has always been an issue. Hauler bag + springs maybe....

Damn I have to add a #5

5.) 26 batteries from Eddy (2000 mAh) + a good NiMh charger.

The Hauler bag is on the top of my purchase soon list. I agree 100% being able to grab one thing and know you have everything is cool and its the way it should be.

The starter box is always a great item to get. I just recently purchased the Ofna Multi-Start Box for my NTC3 and I love it dearly. The PS is now a memory. :)

That is a toss up. If you get the starter box first that is one more item you will have to make a trip for. But if you get the bag you will still have the use the PS. If the engine is new enough pull starting the engine is probably pretty easy right now.

My vote is for the bag.

It only has about a 1/2 gallon in it. I have it tuned well enough that it fires up on the first or second pull. Getting it to turn over at all is the problem because of all that compression. I'm on my second pull start. Rescently, I've just been loosening the glug a 1/4 turn to fire it up when it's cold. (not as hard on pull starts that way).

One vote bag and one vote pipe. Danka for the input.

I'd don't know. The bag is a nice idea but once you start accumulating stuff and several cars/trucks then the bag kinda outgrows itself and you then have a need for several bags. If it was me, I'd go with performance upgrades to the R/C itself first. Although, the starter box would have to be a top choice for me had I not already had one to work for my 4 R/Cs (actually 3 starter boxes). When I go to the track for an evening out out to run for an afternoon, it loooks and feels like I'm moving and I see no way around that. My tool & parts box is bigger than the bag shown in the picture. I likew to know if I need it I have it with and not have my day ruined unless unavoidable. Which still happens from time to time :sniper:

My vote is for the Box. I would sit and cry if i ever had to pullstart again. trust me after u get one, u will never regret it. i know it is the most expensive thing on the list, but it is also the most worthwhile. the bag can be substituted with something archaic like a box, ect. But the box is almost a requirement, 'specially for a .21

I vote for the Starter box.

FYI,
The bag isn't a good idea for an 8th. Its not designed to carry a starter-box, its just to heavy.

Go to Home Depot and get a plastic tub with wheels. They are 25.00 and are much better for an 8th and all the support equipment. With the top on it doubles as a pit stand.

I feel exactly the same now.

Gawd if only I had a Home Depot...Thats a friggin great idea!

I have that starter box and it kicks ass. Go with that!

Like Eddy said, Home Depot and you can get a hard side hauler with wheels. Target or WalMart you can get one even less than 10 bucks but it wont be as nice. They still do the job though.

Get the battery and glo ignitor anyways. Not that much.....
