I'm sick and tired of either Quicktime not playing something or Media Player (MS) telling me something is missing AGAIN!

I'm looking for a one-stop-play-all-no-hassle media player! Can someone suggest one?

I'm running windows 98 on the machine that I'm going to put this on.

Unless you want to spend a large amount of $$$ there really is not a media player that I have ever heard of that will play ALL media. Sorry.

What kind of media files are you playing?
Media Player has run great for me after I installed the most recent divx codec. Winamp actually plays a lot of media files too. I've used it may times.

Media player 9 and Winamp 2.6 are about the best combo in my opinion. Just keep tossing the codec's into media player for movies and such. There is a way to have media player play quick time files, I just can't remember what codec's you have to get for it. A friend showed me a good while back.

And anything newer than winamp 2.6 sucks in my humble opinion. :)
