I'm new to the whole rc thing and was wondering what the benifits of having a good radio are?

More resistance, longer lasting, more range, better settings menu (LCD vs. knobs, LCD!) etc.

I like having better adjustability than most stock radios provide. Some have RTR radios that aren't that bad at all anymore.

Yeah. I think the Savage or T-Maxx comes with JR's.

Losi's came with JR's(some).

Like Olds said, more features. It will be no big deal to you now, but getting a decent radio can make a big difference on how you drive.

BUT the biggest plus is if you are going from a CHEAP RTR radio to a quality FM one. Glitching will be almost gone,and radio range will increase. FM has more channels available to use, and AM has 6ish.

Oh, I meant the Losi's. Anyways, not every radio is better than a cheaper one. Sometimes there are cheap radios with farther ranges then the more expensive ones.
