Hi guys

A few years ago I bought this Nitro monster truck from Ebay (Australia) 2nd hand... (this was before the influx of the cheap Chineese imports). I can't remember what its called and there are no markings...

Its a 1/8th, with a Sh.28, Twin shockers per corner and 4x4, single disc brake and forward and reverse via 3rd servo

The problem is I blew the rear diff and have no drive at all... I dont want to run from hobbie shop to hobbie shop asking... I am sure someone here will know...

see below

I'm pretty sure it's a HOT BODDIES something or other. I remember the tire pattern from a few years ago when several companies were trying to throw something together to compete with the T-Maxx.

The setup looks like an OFNA Buggy...so I wonder if it's that Monster Pirate thing they used to make or maybe a MT conversion from a buggy?

Hot Bodies is a division of HPI and that ain't no HPI. I have been looking for anything that even closely resembles that bulkhead/tower configuration and no luck thus far. I am guessing (nothing to base this on) that it is some kind of Chinese knock-off sold only in Europe. Never seen anything like in in the States...

that it's weird,that shock tower...
that could be some project or something because I don't think so that any brand would do a shock tower like this one...

It looks similar to a Kyosho Nitro USA 1. The USA 1 had that exact same shock tower configuration, and buggy style chassis, but the top brace and fuel tank location do not appear to be USA 1.
