Hello folks Yeah, another newbie, but don't know what the heck. He's doing lol
So I picked up a jato 3.3 nitro and I'm haven issues keeping it Biling, she's tour good when it's cold as it warms up. It does, and from then on, I can't get it to stay running and fires our fraternity seconds and dies, I tried, I'm messing with the high-speed. Need all not quite sure. Just any other issues or not? I'd appreciate some help if somebody knows This jato 3.3 that's able to help me out thanks in advance

Was this car new when you got it or used? Factory needle settings for the 3.3 are 4 - 4.5 turns out on the high speed and flush on the low speed. Idle gap on these engine I believe is like 0.5mm-1mm depending on conditions

I’ve had 2 3.3 engines and 1 2.5 engine and never could get any of them to idle right. I posted a similar question a week or so ago in this thread here. Turn out the factory carbs are just hot garbage.

What fuel are you running?
Is it super cold in Canada?
I ask because when I had my 2.5 running on 30% below 40degF, I’d have to turn the low end nearly all the way out and close down the idle gap just to get the idle down to a manageable speed.

If this is an older engine, it may have sealing issues. You should check the o-rings to be sure they haven't cracked too.
Is the fuel nice and new/fresh? Old fuel causes issues sometimes too.

How is your glow plug? Pull it out and look at it. You can 'read' a glow plug for clues as to what issues you might be experiencing.

I have a Jato and a Revo 3.3. Both are older but but ran pretty good with stock carbs. I'm not saying your carb doesn't need a disassembly and cleaning but I think you could get it dialled in pretty <lose if things aren't damaged.

How old is this motor???

Temperature is an ongoing issue with nitro. If your motor is getting too hot or staying too cold, you have issues.

What are your running temps?
