Hi, I have brought a nitro rc car form a car boot sale, I have managed to get it running but there's a gear/cog with no theeh, I'm not sure what it's called it comes of the cog connected to the nitro engine?
Please help me!
It's called the "Spur gear" and is the cheap part that will sacrifice if something goes wrong. The pinion gear on the engine clutch will turn the spur gear on the slipper clutch and that will turn your transmission and make everything move.
You need to provide the make and model of the car or truck in order to get a new one.
Do you have the manual? If not, find it on line and use the part number to buy a new one on ebay or a local hobby shop.
The Thunder Tiger Pro 21R is an engine, not a vehicle....
Although, that is the engine mounted on the vehicle. As for the vehicle I believe its a Schumacher Nitro 21 XTR 3E.
The spur gear you need looks to be part U2174 (Schumacher) and you can buy one here: http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/20080/ (UK)
