hi all
i have got a Thunder Tiger Tomahawk Nitro Nissan Skyline, the car works great without the shell on, and runs in idle great but as soon as i put the shell on and pull away it keeps going burrp and cutting out, is this due to lack of air getting in or wat just want your advice thanks

:P

Hmmm...the only difference is putting the body on? Have you checked to see if the body is rubbing on any part of the drivetrain? Yes, lack of airflow can cause your car to run poorly or overheat, but it shouldn't be that abrupt. Check first to make sure the body is mounted properly.

I had the same problem with my Hot Bodies buggy, it was the body pushing down the air filter and hitting the throttle linkage.

If it is the air restriction, cut some holes in the windshield to get airflow to that puppy.

I was thinking that, too. Good call. Definitely worth looking into.
