so last year I got the virus 2.0 knowing absolutely nothing but rc's, I broke it countless times but now I'm stating to get into it, but I'm just having too much trouble with my virus, its kind of an engine problem, I'm getting stuck pull start and my engine is basically gone. I'm getting the associated rc 8.2 it 4 months time with a whole load of tools and stuff to look after it better. and the dx4s transmitter. I don't know wether to just leave my virus and not get a new engine and wait to get the associated or to keep going with my virus, there comes a point though where so much goes wrong with it but it seems a shame to put tit to waste.
some advice would be great :\:\

Whoa!.....
Okay, breath....good. Now, what's wrong with it? List it out, list out expense to repair, then judge if you like it that much. Don't get overwhelmed. Seriously, jot down all that's wrong with it. It'll help you justify the things value to you. I've traded off a nice ofne before because I was tired of messing with it then to sink a stupid amount in an other machine.
It's been my experience that it's not as bad as you first think. If you do fix er up, soon you'll have two.

This is a good idea. I was overwhelmed also when I bought my first nitro, it just takes time and some effort to learn how things work. There are some good threads here for you to do some reading and youtube has some great videos also. Whatever you need help with just post it here, there are quite a few knowledgeable people that can help you get it up and running.

Great advice on both counts!
Should have told me thid when I bought my volcano! 5 here and 7 there adds up real quick. And the more you add the more frusterated you get and so on. Its a chain reaction lol
Now I'm stuck with a truck and a half and wont even get half of what I have into it:angry:
But I'm doing alot better since as y Iu guys know! Sadly waiting on tires!:(

Also if you find yourself frusterated or angry and overwhelmed just walk away for a while and relax, it helps alot!
And NEVER RUSH! Thats the fastest way to burn your wallet quick!

so basically i had this trouble with my pull start and cleaned my owb which was alright until i had just started it up, the engine was playing up. like a 5 second delay when holding the throttle down before the power was going through. it was also spitting black stuff.so i switched it off and when i came back to start it up again it jammed, the piston is now completely stuck (is there meant to be a hole in my piston?) :constipat
so now I'm wondering wether just to bury it and wait 4 months for my rc 8.2 to arrive, it just seems such a shame after spending so much on it but i can't really be getting more and more parts for it :\:\
