He doesn't have any problems. He just flies on instruments
That's funny. Sure looks like it.

I don't think he's even in a heli. I'm pretty sure it's a totally rad Wii gaming console, complete with the 3-D vision upgrade.

Last night was the big one. I finally got the landing gear running bullet proof, tested and balanced every part on the main rotor and shaft and bolted the machinery into the heli.
I was starting to test all the systems when the battery quit.
Now that it's fully charged, I just have to test everything, tuck away the wiring for the retracts and lighting and re-install the tail rotor.
I've also changed the trim on the rotor blades, so they will need to be balanced again.
It's getting close.

Heli's are soo frickin' cool. I spent a lot of my time yesterday (Cleveland Airshow) just staring at the different helicopters. Obviously our r/c heli's are much more capable than their real world counterparts but all things considered it's pretty amazing how much angle a 1:1 Apache can get in a climb. It's sort of surreal to watch.

You mean like this?

Right now it only has its base coat. This will be a weathered looking ship when it's done.
It's a very large body made for a 400. It's about 10 pieces of clear lexan, out of the box. You can see where the light blue ESC is, and that's the end of the heli, and everything forward of that is empty shell.
