Here's the update with the finished photos:

This is the radio I recently got to use on all my helis. 7 channel, 2.4 with dual output frequencies and receivers.

So with the dual tx/rx does this mean it will crash twice as fast or twice as hard????? I know I'm not a pilot. Every time I fly an RC aircraft, it usually ends up flying for 30 seconds and then mysteriously on the ground in lots of small pieces.

I always liked the Bell Jet Ranger, and almost got it. Then I noticed that I needed to clear the black tail boom supports so the Agusta/Westland body won out. The retracts are what really locked it for me.
This is one of the color schemes for the Ranger:

The A109 full scale is also available with a 4 blade rotor, and the Bell Jet ranger only has 2 blades, so it wouldn't look right with the next upgrade I want to add:

I've got about $400 in this one right now, and another $350 in the radio. You can spend a lot less, or a lot more, depending on what you're looking for. This one is the 450 size, advanced level 3-D heli with all the alloy upgrades.
I haven't flown the big nitro heli in several years because of the hassle to get it to the field to fly something that loud and that big. It wouldn't even fit in the trunk of the car, so it sat across the rear seat, making the interior smell like nitro.

What's wrong with that? LMAO!

Burnt nitro. Guys don't mind it. Women are repelled by it. :\
In a van it's fine, but with cloth and leather seats, you can't smell the leather.

The scale body with retracts is on the way at $125, and the 4 blade rotor will be another 109 without the shipping. Still gotta' have it. :D
4 carbon fiber blades at 58 a pair.
This will be pushing a grand before it gets airborne. Maybe I should just start building a shelf. :hehe:

How much is it going to cost to chrome-plate the carbon fiber rotor blades to match your Savage???? j/k Looks like a fun build.:hehe:

LMAO!
I'm getting close to that. I just finished ordering the 4 blade rotor head and blades.
I actually went for the aluminum frame instead of the carbon fiber, just because it had more bling. :bling::D

I know NOTHING about these but this thing just looks bad ass,

Let me guess, you're going to use Easy Off to strip the black ano off so you can polish the aluminum, right?
