Yet, another spontaneous buy 😛 Came across a bunch of rc construction vehicles on Amazon, and this TopRace brand front loader at only $40, was too much to resist!

Well, it came in last night, and on initial impression, I was very impressed for the price point. I figured it would be all plastic, but the bucket and cabin are metal. Also, the plastic parts are actually of really good quality, and the yellow finish is excellent! The transmitter is completely toy grade of cheap plastic, but works fine.
The 2 cons are that the controls are non proportional, and the bucket angle is dependent with the arm. I wished they had at least designed it so the bucket would tip back just a bit more, so things that are picked up, stays in more securely. Lastly, the tractor rides low, so there's a clearance issue, and it gets hung up rather easily.
Despite these 2 issues, I did have quite a bit of fun with today's first run. Used it to help me with a little snow cleaning 😀 Small, simple things that's brings me happiness lol

Looks like fun. I think 1/14 is the smallest id go due to power and weight.

What scale is this?

My son has the whole set of those. The bucket not having it's own channel really hinders the performance. You can't dump anything in the truck unless the loader is about 2" higher on a ramp or something. The excavator is ok, but lacks power to dig even wet sand. And the fact that the wheeled vehicles all turn like bulldozers, with the right and left wheels just turning opposite directions kinda sucks. But my kiddo loved them when he was first getting into RC.

Sweet looks like a fun little rig. Next thing you know your going to have a full line up. You just can't have a loader 😉👍👍🤣🤣🤣

For the price point, I feel like I got more than what I actually thought I would be getting. I also saw all metal construction ones that are a couple hundred dollars up to over a grand.
This $40 version works just fine for me!

True that! I'm eyeing an excavator right now 😀
Nice, now you’ll finally be able to get working on that crawler course 😍
Sure, a mini course requires mini construction machineries! 😀
That's pretty cool! Must focus, must not get derailed from goal, must buy Vanquish Phoenix, must not look at construction equipment. o_O
Yes, stay focus......

To make it even harder, there are metal upgrades for the gears and such to give them more power. At least there used to be.
I'm just not ready for that level.

.....just yet

I bought my sons years ago from Banggood. At the time, there were a bunch of upgrade parts for the excavator at least, kinda like the WLToys stuff that comes out and immediately has upgrades for them. My son was only 4 I think at the time, but took to the controls like a duck to water. I was actually kinda dumbfounded how easy it was for him. I actually started designing a gravel yard to 3d print some ramps for the loader to be able to load the truck, but right around then he moved on to the 12th scale buggies. I might have to revisit that some day soon.
