Thanks, so far I am still convinced I am staying away from the actual porting and polishing of the sleeve (to change the timing) I found a TON of info on it last night and have been reading up on it. There's a LOT to digest there! Whatever is done, I would like to do myself. For better or worse, this will be a learning experience for me.
Last night I read that same thing about the crank cutting being cancelled out, and then others who have experienced gains from it. I'm still hoping there's someone out there who has some direct experience with doing the work who might be able to shed some light on this. I was thinking, hey, it's not rocket science... Now I'm thinking it might not be so far off.
