Almost exactly one year ago I got my first real R/C.

I bought a T-Maxx for myself from Towerhobbies for my birthday/Christmas. It's been a crazy year! Here's my history over the last year.

* T-Maxx, my learning machine - heavily upgraded, many engines, many and various upgrades. Still my favorite and still in the garage.

* Duratraxx Thunder Quake - received for testing and a review on the site. Pretty much a POS. Sold on E-Bay a long time ago.

* Nitro Rustler - bought one used...drove the crap out of it. Tore it apart to build a Stampede for my son. Just sold the rolling chassis on E-Bay.

* Nitro Stampede - what can I say...my son is a driving genius!

* Associated TC-3 (electric) - bought it used to turn it and sell on E-Bay, was pretty fun while I had it though.

* E-Maxx - bought it used to turn it and sell on E-Bay. (I made $250 on this and the TC-3!)

* GS Storm - what a ripping crazy machine! Getting ready to off this one up on E-Bay

What's left? One heavily upgraded T-Maxx and one crazy little ported Stampede. All in one year!

Ok now I find this hard to believe. You want me to believe that you bought a duratrax and it didn't run good for you.

Lets do a little run down of the aftermarket stuff you have run in this year in the hobby

1 Cirrus servos- You reccomend have had great luick
2 MegaTech M-16 - Ran Great you give praise
3 Ported Pro-15 need I say More
4 CVEC pipe "NOTHING CAN BEAT A CVEC" your words

Now what I would suspect is that number 5 would have been
"Duratrax Thunder Quake Great TRUCK SMOKES T-MAXX"
Hmm whats up? Where was the golden touch on that choad
duratrax.. Maybee you didn't get the golden touch till after the Duratrax. And all the stuff listed above came after the Duratrash still this is very interesting I can't wait to see what your second year in the hobby brings. X

Pay closer attention to my posts instead of reading them with eyes blinded by your apparent negative bias towards me.

1. I never claimed to have a "golden touch" or the ability to tune everything under the sun. But I'll give it a good, fair and properly informed try!

2. Do you not recall from our last mud slinging session that if I'm good for anything, it's my HONEST opinion?

3. I APOLOGIZED and RETRACTED my overly strong worded statement that "NOTHING CAN BEAT A CVEC".

4. I never claimed that I bought the Duratrax Thunder Quake. I received it for review.

Now if I was anywhere near the person you seem to think I am - I'd be praising and cow towing to Duratrax for the Thunder Quake and saying (as you indicate) that it "smokes the t-maxx". Quite the opposite - I offer my HONEST opinion regardless...the thing is pretty close to a POS.

Read my posts (completely) and respond with fairness...the same I extend to you. Otherwise you can take you pre-formed opinion about me and go piss up a rope.
