i'm outside bashing my GT2 right now and noticing that the clutch sounds like it's slipping a bit if i dont ease into the throttle. Does a stock GT2 have a clutch adjustment? If so, how? I dont do much wrenching yet so a clutch adjustment seems a bit over my head atm.

Thank in advance.

They need cleaned and lightly scuffed up with some sandpaper from time to time. Don't be scared to tear it apart. We all tore our first rc's up learning too.
Make sure the slipper clutch has not backed off. I am pretty sure it has a slipper clutch.

oook, you sorta lost me there. Slipper clutch? and how would i know if it's backed off? The sanding part I understood though

The slipper clutch is attatched to the spur gear that your clutch bell gear turns if it is loose or backed off it will slip alot and give you poor acceleration almost like your clutch shoes inside of your clutch bell are slipping, you want the slipper clutch to slip for just a couple of feet when on a high bite surface and not just spin the tires when you punch it, hope this helps...

it helped a bit, I now know what part it is now. Do I adjust it using the long screw with the spring on it? That's probably vague but it's the one sticking out through the spur gear.
