i really would like to stay w/GS cars. but the new CE is still a narrow arm/extender truck w/a longer chassis. and there are still likely some issues w/steering in the storm platform that i dont like (namely knuckles hittin harms, the carriers, and the steering plate many times rubbin on top of diff input shaft casing).
the buggy will certainly address this. however loox like i'll be racing trucks a time goin 4ward as 1 my vehicle.
gave a p5'd LSP 3/4ths of a lap last nite after gettin hit by every1. thats like game over, some traffic and just the truck itself....i got to within about 2 corners behind and then time ran out. a lesser driver, but w/an LSP and a p5 vs my SUT and a the 25MT (which seemed to go sour finally on that run)....sad to say but my truck is a lil outgunned.
Marty Korn places his Storm CL-1 prototype buggy in the A-main in consecutive weekends. First at the Saturday Series Round 3, Marty drove his CL-1 to a respectable 9th place finish.

Over in Europe, Georg Horinger started 3rd on the grid, runner-up in his semi-final, and placed 8th at the European B Championship with his CL-1.
and he also takes 1st place in in both 1st and 2th round austrian champs.
The CL-1 is clearly showing its potential, even as a prototype. Since the release of the prototypes to selected team drivers, the CL-1 has made the final main at nearly every race it has entered.
