Went for a ATV ride today and seen 37 elk, 3 deer, 8 turkeys, two rock chucks and a few ducks.
The elk were on the far hillside you can see in the pic and I called them in to 100 yards using my coyote call barking like a cow elk.

Which one ended up on the dinner table?😂

Looks nice and peaceful. No cars no people no planes. I like it.
 
Off the top of my head, I can count three reasons why it isn't on my dinner table.
#1 Hemochromatosis "iron overload" I can't eat it.:(
#2 .223 Remington, a bit under gunned.;)
#3 Not open season. Trust me, the thought was there on all three accounts...:p
It was a beautiful day.
