I'll pass on the bag if you got a milf! Otherwise, you were reading my mind. I was looking at one of those packs. Just can't afford it right now since I'm going on vacation overseas. I'm looking at a Sigma 70-200mm lens f/2.8 ... and yes, I may need another dozen or so gigs in the near future. I saw that they even come in 4gigs!

BTW, I think I'm driving everyone crazy with this cam. Snagged some pics of my dad at work, dressing the grinding wheel and sharpening a curved mayo scissor for one of our hospital accounts. These pics are unaltered except to fit the size allowance to post.

Think twice about the Sigma. Yes its an OK lens but the Canon 72mm Beats it all to hell. I took 20-30 shots of the same thing with both lenses before I made my choice. Actually there wasn't a choice. Canon hands down. I got the 28-200. Its not to big to carry around mounted. Its a grey market lens. I got it at a little photo shop on Fishermans Wharf in SF. One of those tourist shops with everything in the windows. CASH TALKS! You have a ton of those kind of stores in NYC. If they know you are a local they will treat you well. I also purchased a doubler. Its great for Macro and brings me from 200 to 400 so I can spy on the neighbors.

I have a friend who works at the canon office here at Lake Success in Long Island. He said he's going to try and see if he can get me enrolled in a program they have at canon for trying out different lenses. I just have to fill out the paperworks and wait for approval. Damn, I need another job. Either that or get rid of one of these hobbies ... naaaaaah, I'll get another job! Gotta suffer a little to reap the rewards!

No Mom for me, have one already and a wife too, that's two too many! I've got a Canon 75-300mm lens, there's two I bought the little bit more expensive one, and have been pretty happy with it for a good all around. It's not too big, but it can get a reach out touch someone shot if you need it. Good luck with the test program, that would be sweet. Where you headed overseas? Might be able to point you in some directions.

I'm heading to the Philippines for 3 weeks. Lots of photo ops there, then there's the nature shots

Are you going alone?
If so I can point out some good places to go.
3 girlfriends for the price of 2 :D

If your with the family, I havent a clue.

I'll only be with family for 2 weeks. One entire week, I'm on my own! 3 for 2? they charged you that because you were a "joe" hahahaha aka Kanu (short for Amerikanu aka American)

Well 2 for 1 with a little extra on the side. French fries, that is! Get you head out of the gutter, guys.

Well,me being Filipino helps a whole lot. Just think about it the us dollar is equivalent to 54 Pesos in the Philippines, on average.

Well, I'll be in Bacolod (south of Luzon, island of Negros) for about 2 weeks visiting family and friends. The third week will be in Manila and everywhere else.

Be safe brother! Have fun and bring me some candy.

Thanks Jon. A big part of my trip is to also check up on my father in-law. I'll try to bring some candy but no promises. It might not even make it to US soil!

May God Bless your family.

would the candy not make it here to the US Soil for custom purposes or personal?LOL
