Got it for $100 shipped, no rx/tx, but it had everything else, plus enough parts to build another without the chassis! Body is crap, but that's no biggie.

I'll take pics tomorrow, right now it needs some drying time. I let the wife drive it, and she stopped in the middle of the road with a car coming, and handed the tx to me. She didn't know what do to. So I drove it back and ended up sliding through a puddle, about a minute later it quit.

This one will be for her to race, if she wants. If not, I'll run it stock, and drop a BL system in the XXX-SCT to run mod!

She went with me to watch me race, and now she wants to do it, but she's got very low confidence in her driving ability. Which is why I am so glad I only paid $100 for this thing!

Congratz on the wife.... I mean rig! Really though, I think it's cool that she takes a little interest in your hobby. The last thing I did that a woman took any interest in was paint cars and she just liked hearing about the colors.

If she didn't have an interest, believe me, I'd be in alot of trouble for how much I've spent on the hobby!

X2, the same way for mine too which is really sad
I can barely get my wife to hold a Tx for 5 seconds while I take a swig of beer. Congrats!

Congrats on the rig though lets see pics

Congrats on the new shared ride Alien.

Lol, shared. It's only shared until she decides if she's going to race or not. I plan on having a mod and a stock to race next fall for the winter series. She can either buy her own, or quit!

But I thought when you got married, everything becomes "ours"? :hehe: Just messin' with ya alien, that's a good looking truck. There's talk of starting a track here, man I sure hope it happens. I miss the racing, but I really miss the comraderie that went along with it.

Lol, in a typical marriage, maybe. Most people are shocked to hear that we hold our own bank accounts and don't combine our paychecks.

I let my mom drive my t-maxx once, and at the time it had reverse in it and she hit full speed forward and accedentily hit the red switch on the tq radio and ruined my trasmission because it shredded all the gears lol, NEVER AGAIN WILL SHE DRIVE MY RC"S

Alien - my wife and i do the same thing. we each contribute 1 paycheck to a 'house' checking account and we each keep 1 check and any bonuses to ourselves. this way we can't get mad when the other spends money on 'silly' things.

We don't even do that. We divide up the bills, I get phone, she gets heat & electric, etc. After we pay our share of the bills, what's left is spending money.
