Got my '63 Vette

Wow!, The 63' split window is my dream car! I am totally getting one of those lids as soon as I get the extra money! Bteween silver and the blue Id have to say blue but when I get mine I'm gonna do it as close to corvette yellow as I can with some kind of black pin striping! :) Awesome find guys!

It's HERE!!!

Wow, it's a flawless beauty. Not so much as a speck on it anywhere, and covered with a beautiful blue tinted skin.
No post dimples or antenna marks that always end up in the wrong place.
What's odd is that there are no guides for the wheel wells, but I guess that allows for perfect alignment on many different cars.
No window masks, no decal sheets, either, but I had already planned on LED tail lights. The other details, like the gas cap and hood grills I can laser print on decal paper.

That would look great with the vintage 5-spoke wheels and VTA tires from HPI.

Here's the link where I got it.

I just noticed at the bottom of the page that is says there are no stickers or window masks with it.
This thing is so smooth it looks like molten glass, even with the mask sheet on it. I'm thinking I might just get another, since it's the most perfect lid I've ever seen. When I looked at the site again I noticed that it had a button that said, "Buy Another" rather than "Buy it Now". :D

This definitely needs some seriously sweet wheels. Got a link to them?

Found them....THESE? Perfect!

That's them. They have two different widths. 26mm and 0 offset for the front and 31mm with 6mm offset for the rear.

hamz, I want to have the wheels and tires ready before I start on this project, so, if you would link me to the exact ones I need for front and back I'd be much obliged, y'all.

Thats normal Rolex....the button will still function as a buy it now button. I've done that before with a few items here and there.

Sorry to bud in
Not butting in at all. Help is always good, no matter who you get it from.

"Buy another" must be the cold hard slap of a realized subliminal message.
I figured out that it knows I already bought one and it's dragged me back to get more.
Ummmm, hate to say this, but I went back last night and bought the 56 Nomad. :whhooo::D

Anyway, I also need the tires to go with those rims and I'm not at all familiar with what's what in that category and size.

All of the stuff for VTA or Vintage Trans Am will work together. Anything wheel or tire-wise HPI has that says Vintage will work together. In the class rules, 26mm 0mm offset wheels are front and 31mm 6mm offset are rear wheels.

56 Nomad showed up today. Now that all 3 new lids are here it's time to start setting up for paint.

This is the first one I got. It's been sitting on hold for a few months now and is eager for a new "coat". All 3 are clear.
