I've had nothing but problems with my Slash, maybe I'm a really bad driver or just have terrible luck. First was the stock castor blocks, replaced with RPM and have aluminum ones on back order. Next blew a shock cap and lost the rubber diaghram, have aluminum shock bodies and caps on order. Then today while I was changing tires I noticed that the front of my stock chassis is busted, where the bulkhead bolts in. So, since it's broke I figure I might as well upgrade so I won't have to change it out again in the near future. I was looking at the Xtreme Racing aluminum chassis, and there was one I saw that dropped the CG but I don't have the patience right now to search for it (I guess I'd rather spend my time bugging you all for answers). Anyhow, I'm looking for some suggestions as to what to use as a replacement for my stock chassis, I'm open to any ideas.

You must either really suck at driving, or must have gotten a lemon. I bash the ever living hell out of mine, and have never broken anything.

Same here except I have broken a few things that was expected sense the way I was bashing. Front end of my slash is about all RPMs. Sense then (crossing fingers) haven't broken anything and I smack the T-total crap out of it. The chassis is like the best part of the truck as far as light and durable. Not sure what you did to break that but it had to be full energy from the force of the collision to break it. Something like landing on a rock in that one spot or something like that. As far as that aluminum Stuff, wow, really bling there.

wow thats crazy maybe you did end up with a lemon, or just beat the thing to death.

Hyster- sorry one of my biggest pet peeves is misspelling/ improper use of words it's "since" not "sense"

Yes, you are correct. I should have payed more attention to those two magpies (Heckle and Jeckle I think) that were on cartoons every Saturday (back in the day) talking about homonyms.
But wait, maybe I was referring to my senses when bashing. The feeling I was having as I made hard turn in the banked turn.... or something.
Okay, I'll cut the :horsecrap: and try to remember. :D

Probably a little bit of both, I have hit a curb or two.

If these things are so indestructible, how come I'm having a hell of a time finding a stock chassis in stock? I was going to buy the Outlaw chassis, but looks like we're going to start a stock class here in Okinawa.
