I have the 2 chambered resonator and it just isn't getting it done. Looking for more torque. Anyone run a pipe like mine then upgrade to something and see a substantial difference?

I drilled out the stinger a bit and it helped. But would like more torque out of my 18TM. Just seems a bit dodey even when running 15/40 gearing.

I have already moved the trans forward and installed an 1/8 gear clutch/flywheel/bell on it and I'm running close ratio gears inside the trans. It is a short chassis from a slayer, but it strains pretty good to pull a wheelie.

I have a stock revo,a revo with a ths pipe and header, and a revo with a trinity pipe and header, personally i think the ths gave abigger improvement over the stock pipe, the trinity is nice too but it just didnt seem to have as much impact as the ths pipe and header.

ths pipe and header will wake her up

I have the ths146h, i went out bashing today and took both revos, i think the ths is a better exhaust sysytem it seemed to have better low and topend performance over the trinity. but that is just my opinion.

When I put my picco 26 max on, I started with my stock pipe, and then put the THS on. It was night and day difference. everyone here said it was the best pipe for the 3.3 and the picco. A friend of mine runs the Trinity pipe on his 3.3 and I don't even like the sound of it! From my experience, THS is the way to go! I'm sure it would be nice for the RB.

I'm running a ths hard anodized pipe on my 2.5r and it pulls great. Gearing is 15/40 it won't wheelie but has a lot of snap. I bought it off of eBay for 25 bucks and I will never run anything else.

Just won a polished or chromed steel fantom pipe on ebay for $25 shipped! I hope it works as well as the natural finish one I had many years ago.

I run both setups, ths, trinity,on stock 3.3 trx's,I think i might pick up another ths system for my 3rd revo.:)

Well, got the fantom pipe. After inspection, I noticed that the stinger was about 30%-40% clogged with weld. It was used, at first just thought it was oil/gunk, but it wasn't. I ground it out with my dremel to make it nice and smooth inside. Apparently fantom really kind of dropped the ball on QA:

Forgot it was a bit annoying to install since they make the stinger point down more than the stock pipe, so now even with an extender (unless I find a straight one), I'll be getting oil on my rear bumper more than before, but hopefully the 18TM performs better.

Won't run until next weekend probably. To busy with work this weekend... might try to squeeze in a tank early tomorrow morning...

where did you attach you rear end of the roll bar? i'm trying to fab one up know.

I just drilled a hole through the body mount and ran a 3mm bolt through:

And used a 3/8" rubber insulated pipe mount to hold it. I use the same things on my savage and aftershock. They look like this thing, but smaller:

I just pick them up at lowes for a couple bucks. They take a few good hits, and the aluminum tears. Kind of a shear point to absorb a hard hit.

Now switch to an 053 side pipe and it will be like night and day again. The 053 turns a picco .26 into a monster.

I think all the 053's are the same just different companies.

You will need to stack gaskets to make it fit perfect, let me see if I can find the part numbers for you.

Scroll down in this post and you will see how to make the bracket for it out of a clothes hanger. It holds it very tight and the pipe doesn't bounce around at all.

Can't find those damn part numbers right now, basically you just put a small block gasket inside the big block gasket the pipe comes with and your good to go.

Just wanted to say, Thanks! I ended up buying a dynamite platinum 053 and just put it on my freshly broken in picco 26 max, and HOLY SH!t !!! This thing sounds badass and is crazy fast! I'm gonna need to add a couple of teeth to my CB though, because I can't keep it off the wing! :D

Well, I ended up going with a BB conversion. Then after trying the fantom pipe with the BB, it was too restrictive and loud.

So, I drilled out the stinger in the stock blue revo pipe and gave it a go.

Quieter, but too limiting on power. Then I tried modifying a BB pipe to fit behind the engine in the stock location.

Seemed to work for a bit, but my tune was really weird and it started leaking all around the perimeter of the copper that was jb welded to the pipe.

I think my tune may have been weird because I coiled about a foot of fuel line around my new era roll bar in a fairly tight coil.

I'm going to change the fuel line to a less tight coil and shorten it quite a bit. I received a trinity pipe in the mail, so will hopefully get a decent running rig with a decent tune this weekend:

I may revisit the modified BB pipe. It seems JB weld doesn't adhere to copper at all. It stuck to the pipe pretty good (after I sanded off the anno), but not a single bit remained on the copper piece once I pealed it off. I may try a threaded brass fitting screwed into the side of the pipe and sealed with JB-weld. Depends on how the trinity pipe works out.
