are you sure that geting upper ajustable arms will give me more ground clearance with the supermaxx shocks?

Adjustable upper arms won't do anything for ground clearance... NewEra upper arms with shock mounts will give you ground clearance. Using the NewEra arms allows you to use the t-maxx (1/8 buggy as well) length shocks on your savage with almost the same stance as it is with stock shocks.

Adjustable arms adjust camber (I think it's called camber).

This is how mine sits with stock towers, NewEra upper arms and UE SuperMaxx shocks:

talk to wannarunem... he has losi shocks on his.

I think that is, hands-down the best thing for the savage.

i bought some of those ofna ultra lx comp shocks and had them about 2 weeks and already yanked 2 shock ends off just bashing around hte yard.

you can get those powerstrokes t-maxx size for $80 off ebay. i wish i had gone with the powerstrokes in the first place.

what are the benefits of running t-maxx size shocks on the savage?

I'm not sure of the all the benefits.

I ran the UE SuperMaxx shocks (OFNA 9.5 buggy) on my maxx and really liked how well they performed and held up to abuse. I didn't like how the savage was so squishy feeling. Didn't feel very stable to me after having a maxx for a year. Then I blew 4 out of the 8 HB shocks on the savage and decided instead of spending $ on savage shocks, to buy what I needed to run shocks that have proved themselves time and time again to me.
