Maybe when it's done it'll be a loop, not just a start and a finish. Can't do laps without a loop...

BMX is a sprint, there are no laps.

On a side note. Whatever happened to the BMX in BMX magazines? I was fliping through an issues of Ride last night, and all they had was street and vert. Same thing with the last issue of BMX Plus I looked at. Even dirt jumping seems to have fallen out of favor. :(

Gilbe,Grey is right they dont useully do laps it is start to finish. But it looks bad ass andyway, well for a rc basher

got one just like it in my area!! the first jump is always teh biggest.:p:

that looks sweet. wouldnt mind bashing my t-maxx there. could have some major fun.

RIDE is more of the hadrcore bashing os bikes, Try SNAP 9race and dirt jumping) but yes they do use laps in BMX, what gave u the idea they didnt, maybe ur thinking of the new event, downhill racing.

the bmx track down the street from me is only a sprint also because i would think after a lap you would loose to much speed to do another lap and be to tire. thats why they have the big starting hill. maybe your thinkin of motorcross??

When i did BMXing it was start to finnish no laps i was F***ED after 1 so there no way u could have laps

Nope Actual BMX Racing....Bike Motor Cross....Maybe We are talking Racing and a dirt jumping coarse. I remember BMX laps, cause i was watching ESPN when brian foster came back int he second lap. I tink they are three lap races

BMX is not raced in laps. I followed it closely in the first half of the 90s, and on and off since then. I've never heard of laps in a BMX race. I've never even seen a BMX track that was designed for it. They race multiple heats in one day, but each one is still just a sprint to the end of the track.

This is ESPN, so they've either done something comeplety different than everybody else, or they got their terminology wrong. (again)

yea,lol by the looks of the print a 65= person can ride bmx on that course.(Without braking a hip).Guess teens can't diss old bags
