well, as some of you may know, I just landed a new TASC10 and need to know a few things. I wanna do a brushless setup in it and want to go lipo in both it and my crawler. i remember reading that you have to have the right gear ratios and such so as not to cause an issue.

please explain this like i dont know anything about brushless or lipo, cause i dont.

for both you will need a esc that has lipo cutoff, i suggest a Mamba Max cuz I'm sure 2 or 3s is all your gonna run so a MMM wont be needed. i doubt you need an external bec but i might be wrong, but on your crawler i suggest a Mamba or sidewinder but you will need a CC BEC since you are now gonna be running that cs170, and then just go 3s. 1500 mah 3s mystery packs are perfect imo for crawlers, zippy also makes nice packs for crawlers. I'm not sure on the sc10 so wait for someone else lol.

yes, it will do just fine. Its the 1/10th scale sport esc. Its the same thing that comes in the flux firestorm and the SC10 is a lightweight truck. You will need a castle link to program it. Since you are running 2S, i would recommend a motor around 3500-4600Kv. That will make the truck fast but controllable. Alpinehyperlite was running a 3S and a 3500kv motor and it was just too fast and got too hot when running in the grass.

wich is a faster motor? do they go like brushed motors? the smaller the number the faster the motor?
