I can understand why some kids get into gangs...not all of them are the theiving drug pushing types....I wouldn't consider myself or the friends I had in NYC a gang but to other people we might have looked that way...I had close personal friends who would literally jump into some sick poop for me...and did....did we consider ourselves a gang?? NOPE!!! but the plaidfish tribe lives on in all of us.....hehe look at my screen name.....this guy was just scum.....if you think killing someone for money is a good way to live then sorry you deserve to die...and in a very painful public manner so others know what you did, and what it will result in......that's great he found God......but even god believes in justice........where did the saying "an eye for an eye" come from???? so to all the holy-er than thou people preaching God does not condone these actions are wrong, He enforces them......

sorry Jon2 that wasn't a dig at your point of view just a biblical fact....I forgot you had posted against the death penalty.....

BTW, I hope the push the needle real slow so he takes a long time to die

Well, Jet, you were almost right. It took 12 minutes to get the needle into his right arm. The medic had a hard time finding the vein.

Also, if I remember correctly, CA used to televise the process up to the time they stopped the death penalty in the early 1970's. Once they restarted it in 1977 they took away the public'c ability to view it. Invitation only!

Nothing is better then the classic hanging in washington,i think they should start boiling people, suffering for your crimes and choice's is needed, forgiveness is suppose to be "Right",the way i look at it,forgiveness is just another way for people to stop feeling bad about there choices,I think he shoulda hung the day after he was convicted, this waiting for 30 year's is bs.If you commited a crime like murder, you should be taken outta society, you took somebody else's life. There's nothing more painfull to people than losing somebody you love because a group of people have nothing better to do then wreck lives. The crips are just as bad as nazi's,they commit senseless act's of violents and taking people from there famillys.I feel sorry for these people who can't gather the ball's to actually become somebody, what ever comes from killing somebody,Peace? I think not,all gang members should be hung for the crime's they have commited, you can't change somebody, you can't turn your life around, people in prision say they have changed.Change is only a mirrior image to what they had done to become what they are.

kinda a dim outlook aint it? .....it wasn't anything terible like murder (all traffic violations that went to warrents) but i spent over a week in la county jail
i was geting to quite the ass around 18 years old :), the MINUTE those big steel bars closed behind me i was forever a changed man ...

in no way am i saying he or any others should not be put to death, i fully belive in the death penalty ...but i want them to be sure they have the right man, witch sometimes takes longer than it should ...to me aint nothing wrong with them sitting around knowing they WILL be killed, & at some point WHEN they will die

yeah thats kinda a bullshit statement. People can change. I used to hate pork chops. Now there like one of my favorite things. I use to be kinda the "trouble maker" of my group of friends. Now I'm the only one who hasnt got a DUI and has the shortest rap sheet. I truly think people can change. Can a murderer change? Yeah I think so. I think alot of crime is caused by mental problems (Not all of it of course, but alot of it) and can mental problems be fixed? With the right medication and couceling.

And also, I'm not preaching gang hood, but I can understand why some people would join them. I can see how some people could like the power, the feel of security and the feeling of family. Chances are they dont get that poop at home. And alot of times its just where ya grow up your surrounded by that stuff so ya dont know any difference. If they dont see the right path, how are they suppose to go about it, or really even know what it is, ya know? Again, not saying it doesn't happen but I can see how some young unknowledgeable kid could get swept up into it.

Everyone does what they have to do to survive. unfortunately, back in different times you had to take different measures to stay alive.

Nowdays tho, I see no reason to do something like that unless you simply want to be involved with those types of people. Understandingy, there are still gangs. Still people who enjoy fear and hatred, still those who actually like that "power" Back in his day (the departed) that was probably how he stayed alive.

Granted, from what I have read the muderes were just that: Cold Hearted Slaying. this was not an act of self defense, it was not questionable as to why he did it...he just did it. Yes, he may have changed while in prison, but like others of said, When you are forced to live with your demons every single day for years on end you have no choice. the man did not appologize for what he had done, he showed no remorse even. Some may say good ridance or be glad the world is rid of the filth. IMO it is just another waste of life. Somone who got carried away in thier own fantasy and forced someone to legaly take thier life. Personally I feel that he should have just stayed in prison. no death penalty. Just stay in prison. no parolle, no freedom. Ever. You will die in prison, but not by another mans hand.

Who really cares if the man sat in a chair dopped up on tranquilizers until a poisn was passed into his veins? he felt nothing beisdes the pain of pain relievers entering his body. Studies have shown that after the dose of drugs the inmate was given there is a 50 percent chance that the guilty patry will STILL be concious and living. That is when the pain starts. He simply feel asleep and never woke up... who does that render retribution too? those dead men and women could care less... the only people who care that this man is dead are those who were directly affected by the loss of a loved one and the other percentage of our race, those who like seeing this kind of thing happen.
