i have to admit, the Eagles did lay down a good beating. i'm sure Big Ben aged a few years in the game.

And in talking to non-PA fans during the game, they thought it was boring.
I must say, it was not at all what I thought it would have been. Why did the Steelers just stick with letting Ben get sacked? They should know that he hasnt learned to throw the ball away, so where was the running game? I would say the Steelers got out-coached, BIG time.

Fast Willie is on my Fantasy team, I was a little disappointed with the play calling Pittsburgh used. And you're right, Ben needs to throw a ball or two away and avoid at least a few of those sacks!

I didnt see anything when the COWBOYS played the EAGLES
or did i miss week 2 ;)

Again, are you lost, this is NOT a Dallass thread! :D

Dallass got lucky, when Mcnab invented the double pump fake handoff that even Westbrook didn't know if he was supposed to get the ball or not. and then fumbled it. NEITHER defense showed up to play that game, and the officials let Dallass get away with three blatant facemask calls before actually calling the fourth one.

There, are ya happy now ;)

BTW, I have been very disappointed with a lot of the officials calls this year. Cost Chargers two games imo, let Dallass get away with a bunch of facemasks, seen mutiple inteference calls ignored, or called incorrectly. I think the officials need to be held more accountable for their screw ups. especially when the official admits his bad call cost a team a victory. Thats just total bs! But if you're a Bronco fan, what the hell, leave it like it is, it's working well for ya this year, lol.

After the Denver / San Diego game I saw something on TV that I was unaware of. The referee 'board' reviews each game and critiques each official on their calls, both made and missed. That particular ref is being 'downgraded' because of the missed/wrong calls made in that game. They said it affects weather or not that official gets to work any playoff games......which are big money games for refs. They said it can even affect their status for next years season and a ref can be removed from the league.
It's nice to know the refs are being patrolled as well.

That's good to know. That had to be one of the biggest screw ups I have seen by a ref, that "mistake" cost a team a victory, no ifs ands or buts about it. That affects that teams entire season, and could cause a team to miss the playoffs because of a loss that should have been a win. I definitely agree the officials should be held accountable for their actions, just as the players are.

Now they need to go back and review that Dallass game, see which ref was allowing Dallas to repeatedly try and rip Westbrooks head off, before actually finally calling a facemask, and penalize his sorry ass.

Don't tell me some of these refs are not biased towards one team or another.
