You need to run it on the ground and put some load on the drive train. You should drive the car in figure 8s. You are also breaking in the gears in the transmission and diffs.
Yes this is a really crappy time of the year to have a new car. I have one sitting in the garage as well.

Ah okay, gotcha. Well i guess. Ill just have to wait, it's raining today and going to continue. So eager to burn through some nitro!!! Eeeek :doh:
 
Wife told me we are supposed to have rain for the next 8 days. Maybe a submarine would be fun.
 
If its discharging over night then there's an issue with the glow igniter.
 
Also keep in mind that if the truck is stationary, there is no cool air flowing over the head. You should pick up a reg (non rechargeable) type glow plug igniter. They are cheap and come in handy... Esp where you're having some issues with yours.
