Normal alkilines stink for glow heaters. They just don't allow for the massive current draw that makes a glow plug good and hot.

At least your looking into a rechargeable one. The difference for me was night and day.

yea, so even though these are only 1700-1800mah, it will still work good and a lot better than my non rahchargable one? Thanks

oooo, so the mah is how long the power is held... I thought that was how long it could hold, and the power.

I have some ignitors on sale - a 1800 and a 3000 with meter

The larger the the higher the battery mha the longer and stronger the unit works.

does the meter tell you how much battery is left on it?

No, not really it just lets you know if you got a good connection and how strong it is. If the thing points to green all systems go, now the closer to red may be an indication of lower battery charge. If in red either the plug is no good or the battery needs charging
