On my Kyosho mp 7.5 kit.I am using airtronics 358 for steering and 161 for throttle.Last night I thought I would take my ofna hyper .21 8 port off my t-maxx and put it on the Kyosho cause the kyosho still needs an engine and pipe, reciever.Well last night I tried to drive it in the garage, and it would steer one and and not the other. Then when you take it off the ground it would steer both ways. Then the engine would rev without me working the throttle. The engine would rev by itself anytime but it only revved once when I was putting it around the garage. The 161 servo for throttle is making a humming sound,my LHS said to take it apart and fix a gear in there or something like that. Also the wire for the steering servo goes right beside the throttle servo.I don't know if thats the problem or not.I also have blue aluminum servo horns on the servos. At first I thought it was the batteries, but then I put in 4 new AA's and it did the same thing. So the only thing I think it is,is the wire right beside the humming throttle servo,or the aluminum servo horns.

You have glitching due to metal to metal rubbing, your RX is goind bad or a bad servo. I had the same thing happen to me. One by one I would check. Look for metal to metal touching. I know that when I had my Picco running the vibration would casue my RX to glitch.

Hope this helps

Jon

I also thought it was the vibration of the engine but I don't know I have to check and see. Thanks, cisco

Here's a link that should help you with your glitching problem.

R/C Radio Interference Troubleshooting

Classic Bait and switch move and I fell for it....damn
Cisco I hope you are getting the point that when you screw one of us you screw all of us.....I havn't been here for long but I realize the value in not screwing people over in life......you really should stop asking people who have owned you for help....actually I think your problem was answered in that thread EVERYONE is referring to.....and I'm not talking about your radio problem....Maybe if you stopped trying to walk away from what you said you did (who knows maybe you thought we'd think you were cool for saying what you did) and just sack up and apologize...not just to us but to the guy who you sold the engine too......maybe we would see that you are maturing and could take the time to help out.....until U show true remorse for your actions go F*#K OFF........

Rolex.. I think I have created a monster. LOL

Let's see what Cisco-red will do. HAven't seen him post here in a while. Lets just see what he does.

LOL....nice to know you got sucked in. We decided to end the Cyber-beating we were giving him, figuring he must have gotten the point by now. It's good to know that there are lots of upstanding members here that look out for one another as far as bad trading goes. That was the whole point of posting that link in every thead he showed up in.
We've made our peace, and we move on.

I do have a huge problem w/ people like that....maybe if we all just shut him down until he admits he was wrong it will make him a better person......
Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me......words to live by

but in his case fool ME once shame on me....
