I know this is a little...well very vague but, Details : I got my girl a 1/8 Traxxas Nitro Sport it was a hand me down from my brother ran fine.

What happened : I was racing around with my Kyosho and we didn't look when we were racing she turned around raced the other way and I clipped her back end pretty hard. Her rear wheel blew out and only thing holding it on is the tie rod lol... The shock seems ok, the little black thing ( I think its a strut) dissconected, oil went everywhere not sure if the shock blew out or if the strut had oil in it or not, and the mount to the suspension broke. See pictures to asses the situation..

My question : What does it look like I need to buy? Should I buy aluminum suspension or keep OEM? Also my wallet is pretty thin due to buying a new car (not RC) so... A price if you know would be helpful too! thank you guys so much I'll be checking in to see responses!!

(Feel free to ask for more pictures if needs be!)

You're all the best. Thank you again!

Looks like just a pivot block and a new shock, maybe the shock can be fixed if the cap still threads on.

Seems you need a rear suspension arm mount ( traxxas number 2797 or 2798 $2 for the pair), reassemble the shock if it has any thread left (get the oil for it, do both rears so they are the same) and bolt everything back in and you are good to go.

MY goodness that's the cheapest repair I've ever seen on any of my RCs lol usually it's like $100+ Thank you buddy I will order them now! ANd you said get the oil, can I use OIL oil or order special "shock oil"

Yeah $10 and the fact of her being pissed at you for wrecking her rig with you darn fancy kyosho ! Haha. I'm sure she will forgive you eventually.

That happened when you clipped her rear end, did one of you fall on the buggy?. LOL.

Sorry but thats funny! Better upgrade some of her parts to aluminum to match yours now. Or just tell her to stay outta the way! Lol
