Thanks Charlie for all of your help and suggestioins here. I do listen to people and do a lot of reading and see what really does work out there.

I have been into racing off and on for some time, and have spent a lot of money listening to some and then I find out what really works for me. Seems everyone is different.

I did business with Maxamps when he first went into business, and he was one of the cheapest places around at that time. Like any business, as things catch on, his prices did go up. I do like the size of that 2000 battery, wish the price was a little lower, but if it is a true 30c battery then it might not be bad. I used to match my cells up when making packs, and have done business with a lot of companies, and there are a lot of small ones out there that are not known about sometimes. I have been running the 20c stuff in my car racing, and have been pretty happy with it, but know the higher C level might be better.

I will leave you a private PM with my info so I can get in touch with you, would like to talk about a few more things.
Jeff

20-25 C should be plenty. The main reason I run the maxamps stuff is because I get a 15 or 20% discount on everything via their reward program, and they also offer great deals on free lifetime warranties, along with having something the right size for my application. I haven't found another battery with the same dimensions, and if it's 5 mm longer, it's too long for what I need. There are lots of nice batteries for less money, I just havent found one that will fit. I'm sure there are some out there that you might know about.

If you order from maxamps.com, have them run the wires out of the top of the pack instead of the end of thepack, and the battery should mount on the front axle, which is just a tad bit better than the upper links.

You've probably heard of the famous group of guys over at "Dorkstar Productions" (awesome site with tons of crawler vids), well I'm going to do a paintscheme on mine that says "Pornstar Productions" lol
