Getting Tires On Rims.. (pita)

Well I bought some new tires for my revo as well as a new set of rims and I can't seem to get these dam tires on the rims. Any advice about a methodical way to do this?

They just don't seem to want to fit in those grooves on the rims.

How about a link to the tires and wheels you bought. Other than having tires that are not made for the wheels I can't see a problem, they go together pretty well from my experience.

There really should not be a problem putting tires on rims. A picture or link to both the tires and rims would help a lot.

Thats what I'm thinking. It can be done if your willing to cut on your new tires.

If you like the chevron tread ask them for the ones that come with the T-Maxx 2.5R, they will fit on the revo wheels. I like the looks of the Revo wheels but I don't like any of the tires, thats why I did this https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48697

I think I want to grab the Big Joe tires.. They look pretty sick and they would probably do pretty well off-road and on-road as well.

Can anyone reccomend a set of wheels that would work with these and look nice? I know theyd have to be 40 series right?\

The Big Joes have too much sidewall play for my liking. I put a pair on my Baja, and they don't handle turns very well, because they are soft, and have a lot of sidewall to play with. I am going to go with the 40 series mashers to try those.
