I'm leaving Knoxville as soon as I pick up a crawler. I'll call you when I'm about 10 minutes from your house.
I should be there about sunup.

Rolex, I tried to trade you a brand new baja 5b SS still in the box for your Savage and you didn't want to do it. That's fine, I'll be trading anyone BUT rolex this time.

lmao that's funny. How can ya not love Ralph?

that was hillarious by the way in the traxxas employee forum. I hope he doesn't cast a spell on you, purmentlie

Well just so you guys know, I've jumped head first into another aspect of RC. I just ordered my Axial AX10 crawler kit, and I have a Novak goat crawler system waiting here on the desk for it. I'll start a crawler thread in the members projects section.

I haven't sent you a PM because I have a horse that's really sick and I'm only at the computer for a couple of minutes. Everything appears great, I'm really impressed, but I want really know if everything is OK for sure until I hook it up, but it seems fine to me. Thanks for all that you did and the GREAT customer service. I'm guessing you own your own business, because you handle your business right.

cool, just wanted to make sure they didn't manhandle the package or use it as a wheel chock. Looking forward to the build thread! I am looking for my next project as well.

i am thinking brushless truggy but i'm not sure...... i just want something fast with awesome handling and able to take a few hits. the firestorm is too light on the front end but the wheelies are cool, the tc5 will be onroad only. i just need a playmate for the firestorm.

hmmm, E-revo maybe. Or even better, revo 3.3 converted to brushless? I think I would choose a good truggy over the Revo, I just don't know a lot about the truggies yet.

i don't know too much about them either. i know they are bigger and more race oriented but i am thinking they are durable too. if i can get an awesome kit and then get the novak conversion for it, i will be set.

i am sticking with 2s lipo's in everything because it really chaps my butt when i burn expensive electronics.

Noooooooooooo

The kit comes with a lot of the upgrades similar to the Savage kit. A lot of the green ano aluminum where the RTR is all stock black plastic.

I dont know Rolex. Unless Charlies intending to drop it off a cliff, or drive over it with the 5B, I dont see 7mph breaking much of the plastic.
Unless like me everything is a shelf queen, then go the bling.......

I went with the kit since I already have the novak goat brushless system and all of the electronics. I've already got a lot of stuff on the way from East End Machining. Joe is a wonderful guy and stocks a lot of crawler stuff. The reason I shop there so much is because of the way Joe goes out of his way to help me with customer service. I wanted a part that had been discontinued and he couldn't get it, so he's going to machine one for me for almost the same price. He ALWAYS answers my emails within an hour or two, even on the weekends, and he always offers a discount when I buy several items. So far, best service I've found and I know if I ever had a problem with any part, I could send it back and Joe would make it right no matter what. Now I'm not volunteering him from any kind of guarantee, but I know that he will always take care of me. If you need anything, shoot him an email and if he doesn't have it, he will get it, and if he can't get it, he will make it. He's got a HUGE inventory for someone just starting out, and he has more merchandise arriving weekly. http://eastendmachining.com/

I'm thinking of doing this myself really soon, I use to have a crawler 1:1 jeep, but all my photos of it were on my old comp, and that hd got fried. So I will probably be doing something like this soon. Not sure which to get yet, so who knows what you will see up here. I hope the horse gets better Charlie, just post pics when you can,and good luck.
