I have a tmaxx with roughly 2K into it. I can't get more than 20 mins of run time out of it no matter how much i replace and upgrade. It never fails to break. The current problem is that it refuses to go forward and just revs up. I am just fed up with it and could probably get 500-600 outta it.

Soooooo, keep it or get out??? :ponder2:

sorry to bust your bubble..But IMO no one will buy a tmaxx for 500 to 600$ no matter what you have in it..
I know this from experience.

Unless it's built by Copperdillon.

i'm saying if i part it out i could get that for it.

125 for the motor
60 for the cage
all the RR, RPM, UE, MIP stuff on there.

maybe 400 then. still alot of good stuff on there thats never been used. its all in great shape.

Unfortunately Zandor is right, that's why I still have mine. I have easily over 2k in my maxx, but I would be lucky to get $300 for it. T-Maxx resales have fallen through the floor, so I would just rather keep it than give it away for that.

well i'm gonna pull the tranny this weekend (maybe sooner) and see whats up with it. Its just super disappointing to work so hard on something then just have it break after going through a ditch at maybe 10mph.

Man, I know what you're saying.... It was the same with my xxx-nt. Every fricken time I drove it something went wrong. Maybe try and trade it on like rcuniverse for a 1/8 buggy. Than the resale value will be muuuuch higher and you wont waste as much money. My friend had $1600 into his savage and only got $450 for it rtr.

I'd try to trade someone for it for a revo, or a savage or something else you might want. That's what I did.

LMFAO!!!

Dude ya should have gotten out of the Tmaxx about a grand ago. But yeah, youll have a hard time getting anything over $300-$350 for it. I had about $1600 into mine and sold it for $250 and it looked like new with all the new parts on it.. poop sucks.. Now I got my Savage and havnt looked back. Tough as nails.

I heard this one guy started with a paper clip, then he traded it for a pen, then he kept trading for better and better things untill he was trading real estate in like florida lol. Craaaazy.. Maybe you should try the trading for better strategy... or am I pshyco at 12:27am?

i am buying jon2's savage. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

now all you suckas with tmaxx;s need to go buy all my hopups. :)

Congrats on the purchase.

Savage is my favorite ride. This forum is the reason I bought one.
