Gearing

Well I just fully broke in my new STS .21, and I'm having trouble getting the RPM's up on the back stretch. Its just not that loud and powerful. Do you think its the gearing?????????

Could be gearing, could be the pipe, could be the fact that you just broke it in. I really don't consider engine good and broke in to the point where it starts making good power and getting better economy until it's had about 1 gallon through it.

Ah, then I'd be inclined to agree with Jet. May want to try leaning it out a tad as well. From your brief description, it sounds a bit rich.

But its temping out at About 230

Try pushing it to 250 and see what it does. You're not going to damage it. My OS .18TM doesn't wake up until around 250 and my Hyper .21 8-port doesn't seem to have any giddy-up until it hits 240 or so.

If you hit 280 or 290, then you're running too hot, but otherwise, I think you'll be alright.
