Ray, if you go 15/38 and have that TM dialed in, that front end will come up on command, my friend!

I have a great gearing chart I can send your way, if you want. Just need your e-mail addy.

I just got word from slayden that the 3.3 likes the stock gearing or 15/36. He said this is because the 3.3 is much smoother then the os. We'll see I guess.

You've been nice enough to send it to me already ;) I just need to get off my lazy butt and order a spur gear. I was just wanting to see what the stock gear would do with the TM and that CB I ordered. The truck is running a lot better now than it's been in a long time. It's nicew to have the thing die because of no fuel instead of some mysterious crap ;)

Thanks

Ah, you're right! My apologies!

I agree! If my TM dies, I know either I'm out of fuel, or I did something!

I'm running 15/36 and I can't keep the front end down with the OS 18TM. I'm only at about 2/3-3/4 of a gallon through the engine.

I'm going to try a taller CB to see if I can make it more controllable.

Last weekend, I tried fiddling with the slipper. With adjustments, it was either slip city or on it's roof off the line. I didn't like it slipping as much as the wheelies annoyed me. It was making the spur plate rediculously hot in just a few minutes.

It's still running pretty rich as well. I'm having a hard time getting the temps above 220 and it just hauls. It's cool on grass. When it hits second gear, it pulls wheelies! On pavement, it just burries the rear when it hits second.

Well, now I spoke to soon lol

Now my TM want start :OMG: It was doing very nice...I ran 2 tanks through it that day before it stopped working on me. I got 3 trucks and not a one of them is working for me  I finnaly bought a motor for the Tmaxx and the carb linkage is all wrong...I told them I wanted a dirrect bolt in  I guess that is why so many people have tons of RC's, law of averages, one of them has to be working come time to play lol

monkey wrench i'll take a copy of that gearing chart, i'm running a tm i change to a 16 br i broke the motor in,and running a 40 spur gear with bow ties on wabash wheels
